We only have 1 life to live, so everyone wants everything to be perfect, but keep in mind that nothing will ever be perfect and you will have to fail sometimes to learn how to make good choices.  If you give up after the first failure you will never make it.  Harry Potter was submitted to 50+ agents and rejected before it finally got published – could you imagine, all the millions she would have missed out on if she would have given up?  Anything worth having is worth fighting for, so keep the attitude of the experimenter, constantly perfecting the idea, craft, and final product.
