All American Music
americanmusic

For my screen printing class with Charles Joyner at NCSU, we had to do 10 collages.  This piece was originally on an 8×11 sheet of construction paper.  It was then scanned, manipulated in photoshop, and printed large scale, 36×24 inches.  After that it was screen printed on, and re-collaged with matte board and pieces of itself onto a piece of masonite.

It is probably one of my most historically charged, and finished pieces.  I’m not a big fan of history.

My Little Monst*rs
mm_scr

I actually know all these humanoid creatures!  Can you find yourself, maybe your friend?  You will know when this is published…

Ducking and Dodging

09 – (MIDTERM) DUCKING AND DODGING from Menes Kedar on Vimeo.

In Multimedia Studio with Pat Fitzgerald [NCSU] and McArthur Freeman, I did this animation demonstrating squash and stretch, motion along a path, programmatic motion, and boning, in Maya.

The title is indicative of how I felt about my life at the time. I laugh only in retrospect – but this was turned in on time.

Vortals and Portals

Vortals and Portals from Menes Kedar on Vimeo.

This is a piece I did for another Multimedia Studio years before I knew how to control a camera in Maya and when I thought leaving the far clipping plane alone was cool! I still like it and would love to make it actually go somewhere and populate it with objects!
